The K&M 24623 is an “extra-high” distance rod designed to raise speaker cabinets or lighting elements above a subwoofer or platform. It’s built from steel and offers a height range from 1,400 mm to 2,400 mm in five increments of 200 mm, secured by a locking screw and safety hook.
Its 2-piece folding / telescopic design makes it easier to transport and store. The ends are 35 mm tubes, with the bottom end having an M20 threaded bolt to screw into compatible base plates, and the top having an integrated M10 threaded bushing for mounting crossbars or lighting fixtures.
With a max load of 25 kg (when load is centered), it is suitable for many speaker / lighting setups in live sound, stage, DJ rigs, or rental / event use. Its slim clamp design helps minimize bulk and aids in orderly transport / rigging.
